Under the sky, where the stars did gleam,
A cow lay in bliss chewing cud,
Her dreams much larger than they did seem,
As she eyed the moon, her thoughts would bud.
With a whimsical wish, to the moon she'd fly,
Where she believed lay fields of cheese,
No sooner had she thought, she decided to try,
To fetch back a piece, if you please.
Wings unfurled, she left the earthly green,
Above the tallest trees she soared,
To a place where the night was serene,
And the moon's glow could not be ignored.
Upon the moon, she touched down with ease,
Finding Lunar cows, oh what a sight!
She set to work, crafting cheese from these,
In the moon's pale light, her delight.
With a hefty wheel of cheese, she returned,
Back to her pasture, her mission complete,
From her adventure, much was learned,
And now she had cheese for all to eat!
