Rose Love Stars

by William Somero (1967)

A rose in full bloom,
Tender love whispers softly,
Stars watch over us.

Petals touch the sky,
Loved one's hand clasping my own,
Stardust lights our path.

Crimson in night's arms,
Heartbeats echo in the dark,
Celestial stroll.

Fragrance in the breeze,
Eyes reflecting starlit dance,
Rose between our hearts.

Thorns guard purest love,
Silent footsteps under stars,
Together we bloom.
